UploadArticle Guest Posting: What the Data Shows

UploadArticle is two separate websites, not one service. We checked both, four reseller listings, and the search data behind a keyword that looks far bigger than it is.

UploadArticle is two separate websites, not one service. uploadarticle.com is a multi-topic blog with archive captures going back to 2010; it takes contributed articles by email and publishes no price. uploadarticleguestposting.com carries page metadata dated January 2026, lists three packages without prices, and its terms page held one word when we checked on 12 October 2026.

Keyword tools put "uploadarticle guest posting" at tens of thousands of searches a month, which is why so many pages now try to explain it. Many of them treat the two names as one platform. That is not what we found. We opened both sites, four reseller listings, the archive records, Google's current spam policy, and our own Search Console data for a similar keyword. Every observation below is dated 12 October 2026 unless a different date is given.

One more thing before the details. We did not order anything from either site, and we make no claim about who owns or runs them. Everything here is either what the sites say about themselves, what a third party says, or what we saw on the page. We keep those three apart.

Guest posting, briefly

A guest post is an article you write for someone else's site, published under your name or brand. The host gets content. You get an audience and, sometimes, a link back to your own site.

In practice the term now covers two quite different things. One is editorial: you pitch an idea, an editor accepts or rejects it, and nobody pays anyone. The other is a paid placement, where you pay to have an article published on a site, usually with links included. Both get called guest posting, and that is where most of the confusion around names like UploadArticle starts. Google's policy, covered below, draws its line around paid links and how they are labeled, not around guest posting itself.

Two sites, one name: what each one actually is

The quickest way to clear up the confusion is to put the two sites side by side. They share a name. Almost nothing else lines up.

A guide on Tycoonstory reaches the same conclusion and calls them separate websites. Plenty of other pages blur the two together, which is how a reader ends up thinking one company runs a long-standing blog and a brand-new service. Nothing we found on either site says that.

What uploadarticleguestposting.com's own pages show

This is the newer of the two, and the one most search pages point readers toward. Here is what its pages say and show, in the order a buyer would hit them.

1. Its page metadata is dated January 2026

The homepage metadata carries a publish time of 27 January 2026, and the footer carries a 2026 copyright line. We found no Wayback Machine capture for the domain. That is consistent with a new site, but metadata and a missing archive do not prove when the site actually went live.

2. Three packages, no prices

The pricing page lists Starter, Standard and Premium, with turnaround estimates for each, from a review window measured in hours up to about a week for the writing package. It calls them "transparent starting packages". There is no dollar figure anywhere on the page. Final pricing, it says, depends on draft quality, word count, editing and turnaround, and custom quotes are offered.

3. The terms page has one word

Click Terms in the menu and the body of the page reads "Terms". That's it. No payment terms, no cancellation rules, no content rights.

4. The privacy policy is the WordPress starter text

Sections of the privacy page still open with the label "Suggested text:", the placeholder WordPress adds for site owners to replace. It also tells you the page has not been edited since setup.

5. The order forms were never set up

Both the submit page and the contact page show an instruction meant for the site editor, "Add your form here (WPForms)", followed by a list of suggested fields. In practice, the only working way to order is email.

6. Nothing about refunds or payment methods

We read the home, pricing, services, guidelines, about, contact, submit, terms and privacy pages. None of them mentions a refund, a cancellation window or how you pay. Absence of a policy is not the same as a bad policy. It does mean a buyer has nothing in writing to point to if an order goes sideways.

7. It asks for paid links to be labeled

The guidelines page includes this line: "If you are submitting content that includes sponsored/paid placements, links should be properly qualified." That is a written rule on the guidelines page. We did not check whether posts the site has already handled follow it.

8. It does not link to uploadarticle.com

The homepage uses its own domain and its own email address throughout. It never mentions uploadarticle.com, and uploadarticle.com's homepage does not mention it either. If the two are connected, neither site says so.

What uploadarticle.com shows

The older site is a different animal. The earliest Wayback capture, from 11 November 2010, shows a page titled "Free Articles Directory". Today it is a busy WordPress blog with categories running from health and finance to travel, SEO and home and garden. The homepage pagination reaches 1,281, and the newest posts were dated 10 October 2026 when we looked.

Its footer describes it as "a trusted platform for guest posting, content publishing, and digital marketing insights." The Write for Us page sets the bar like this: "An article should be at least 1200 words in length And Must have 2 related Images of HD Quality." Submissions must be original and pass a plagiarism check. You send them by email.

What the page leaves out matters just as much. No price. No link type. No turnaround. The contact page and the Write for Us page also list two different phone numbers, which is worth knowing if you plan to call. And the post list includes items titled as tools, such as an "Article Rewriter Tool by UploadArticle.com" and a word counter. We did not test whether those tools work.

One site, three resellers, three prices

Here is where it gets odd. uploadarticle.com publishes no price at all. Resellers do it for them, and they do not agree.

Solutionboxes lists a placement on uploadarticle.com at $20, Linkplacement at $60, and Sitetrail at $100. All three attribute their traffic figure to Ahrefs. The numbers come out at 197K, 34K and 275,020 visits a month, roughly eight times apart from lowest to highest, for the same site. The estimates are not from the same date: Sitetrail labels its figure as an August 2023 estimate, Solutionboxes's page was last updated in May 2026 and Linkplacement's in September 2026. Different dates explain part of the gap, so none of the three should be read as current traffic.

The newer site gets the same treatment. Vefogix lists a guest post on uploadarticleguestposting.com at $12, with DA 4, DR 3 and an Ahrefs traffic figure of 5+ a month.

We did not establish whether any of these resellers has an arrangement with either site. So read the listing price as the reseller's price, not the publisher's, and treat any traffic number on a sales page as a claim until you have pulled it yourself, with a date, in a tool you can open.

What guest posts cost in 2026

A price only means something next to what it buys. This is what the listings we checked on 12 October 2026 actually show.

SellerWhat it sellsListed priceLink type the page states
VefogixPost on uploadarticleguestposting.com$12DoFollow, 2 links

Two things stand out. The same site sells for $20 or $100 depending on who lists it. And a price per placement tells you nothing about quality unless the seller also shows the site, its metrics and its terms. FATJOE's own page describes its blogger outreach as different from guest posting and quotes delivery from 14 days, so its tiers are not a like-for-like comparison with a $20 listing.

The search data behind "uploadarticle guest posting"

This part is the reason we wrote the article. The headline volume for this keyword does not mean what most people assume it means.

Search data, United States

67,000 Searches a Month, on Paper

Ahrefs shows "uploadarticle guest posting" at 67,000 US searches a month. That figure is a 12-month average. Month by month, nearly all of it sits in one spike.

Created by Arfadia • arfadia.com/blog

Ahrefs lists "uploadarticle guest posting" at 67,000 US searches a month. That number is a 12-month average. When we added up the monthly figures from October 2025 to September 2026 and divided by 12, we got 66,622, which matches. Almost all of it comes from one stretch: the estimate jumps to 428,284 in February 2026, stays in the tens of thousands through June, then drops to 13, 12 and 12 for July, August and September.

So the keyword that looks like 67,000 searches a month was, by Ahrefs' own monthly data, closer to a dozen in September. The domain spelling "uploadarticle guest posting.com" was still estimated at 23,071 that month, so not every variant has faded. Most have.

The same rise and fall shows up elsewhere. "abguestpost" peaked at 20,393 in November 2025 and has sat at 103 a month since. "gonzay.com guest posting" peaked at 4,920 in December 2025, then fell to 36. One shortened URL, adsy.pw/hb5, was estimated at 129,308 searches in November 2024.

We can test this against real data, because we rank for one of these keywords. Our review of abguestpost sits first for "abguestpost" in Ahrefs, which estimates it should bring arfadia.com about 15,520 visits a month across five countries, 6,934 of them from the US. Search Console tells a different story. From 15 September to 9 October 2026 the query produced 32 impressions in all countries, 10 of them in the US at an average position of 1.5, and zero clicks.

Two caveats, and they matter. Ahrefs volumes are model estimates, not Google's counts. And Search Console leaves out some rare queries for privacy reasons, so its numbers can run low. Even allowing for both, the gap between thousands and ten is too wide to put down to rounding. What caused the spikes, we do not know, and we are not going to guess. The practical point is simpler. Before you build a plan around a "site name plus guest posting" keyword, check the monthly series, not the average.

Who actually fills the results page

Ahrefs keeps a dated snapshot of the US results for both spellings. For "uploadarticle guest posting" (updated 9 October 2026) the page opens with an AI Overview, followed by general guest posting guides from WrittenlyHub, Sirlinksalot, Quora, cases.media, Neil Patel and Noupe. For "uploadarticleguestposting.com" (updated 5 October 2026) it is goinswriter.com, BuzzStream, Copyhackers, Semrush, Adsy, Medium, guestpost.com and Collaborator. Neither UploadArticle site appears in the top 10 of either snapshot. Results for a keyword like this move quickly, and pages written specifically about UploadArticle have been appearing alongside these guides, so treat any snapshot, ours included, as a picture of one day.

Beyond the first page, you run into look-alike domains and pages written about the keyword itself: upploadarticle.net, uploadarticlenow.com, upload-articles.com, myuploadarticle.com and a page on renweb.it.com, among others. They contradict each other on the basics. One calls UploadArticle a free platform. Another describes a dashboard where writers filter publishers by domain authority and says the service launched in 2021. The service site's own metadata says January 2026, and its order process is an email inbox.

The questions people actually ask in these results are the useful ones. Google's People Also Ask box for the domain spelling shows "How do I submit a guest post?", "Where can I submit free guest posts?" and "Does guest posting still work?". We answer those below.

What Google's spam policy says today

Google's spam policies page was last updated on 28 August 2026. Three parts of it bear on guest posting.

Link spam. The policy lists buying or selling links for ranking purposes as link spam, and its examples include paid articles with "links with optimized anchor text in articles, guest posts, or press releases distributed on other sites." The same section says paid links are not a violation when they carry a rel="nofollow" or rel="sponsored" attribute.

Site reputation. The section formerly called site reputation abuse now runs under the heading "Site reputation policy". It targets third-party content published on a host mainly to borrow that host's ranking signals, and it states plainly that "Having third-party content alone isn't inconsistent with the site reputation policy". Google also changed how this policy is enforced from 30 August 2026: manual actions under it now work differently for people searching inside the European Economic Area than for everyone else.

Scaled content. Generating large numbers of low-value pages mainly to rank is covered separately, however the pages are produced.

Read plainly, the policy is about intent and labeling. It does not ban guest posting. We found no official Google statement that speaks specifically to rented subdomains or hosts like the .it.com pages above, so we are not going to put words in Google's mouth on that.

How to check any guest post seller before you pay

None of this needs special tools. Everything on this list is something you can see on a seller's own pages, in a few minutes, before money moves.

  • A price on the page. Not "message us for a quote" for a standard product.
  • Terms with actual text. Payment, cancellation and content rights, written down.
  • Refund wording. Even "no refunds" is useful, because at least you know.
  • A written link policy. How many links, what attribute, how long they stay up.
  • The publishing domain, named before you pay. If you are buying a placement, you should know where it lands.
  • A contact route that works. A form that is really a form, or an email that answers.
  • A public record. Archive history and pages that match what the seller claims about its age.
  • Metrics you can reproduce. If a listing quotes traffic, check it yourself and note the date.

For the marketplace side of this, our abguestpost review walks through how to read a seller's own inventory table against its claims.

Marketplace, service or do it yourself

Most guest post buyers end up on one of four routes. They differ less in price than in what you get to see before you pay.

RouteHow it worksWhat you see before payingWatch for
Marketplace or reseller listingYou pick a site from a catalog and pay per postSite name, the seller's metrics, a priceMetrics that differ between sellers for the same site
Managed outreach serviceThe provider finds sites and places the article for youPrice tiers by site strengthWhether you approve the final site before it goes live
A site's own Write for Us pageYou pitch or submit directly to the publisherThe publisher's own rulesWhether payment is involved and what the terms say
Pitching and journalist platformsYou answer reporter requests or pitch editorsThe outlet and the requestNo guarantee of publication or of a link

None of these is wrong on its face. The question is the same each time: can you see where the article lands, what the link will look like, and what happens if it never runs?

Disclosure: Arfadia sells guest posts on this blog through our Write for Us page, and paid placements in the outlets listed in our media directory. None of the sites in this article paid for it, and we have no business relationship with any of them.

What to do instead

There are two honest routes, and they suit different goals.

Earn the coverage. Journalist request platforms connect sources with reporters who need a quote. HARO, now powered by Featured, sends free daily media queries. Qwoted has a free Basic plan and a Pro plan at $149 a month, or $99 a month billed annually. Featured lists Lite at $29 and Pro at $79 a month on annual billing. SourceBottle is free to join, with options at $25 per pitch, $65 a month, or $130 a month for agencies. None of them guarantees a mention, and that is rather the point. Big outlets tend to work the same way. Entrepreneur, for example, says it "does not accept guest posts", runs a contributor network instead, does not allow do-follow links, and does not guarantee publication.

Buy a placement, with the terms in writing. Sometimes you need a guaranteed article, on a set date, in a known outlet. That is a paid placement, and it is a normal part of the web as long as you know exactly what you are buying. If that is what you need, our Write for Us page sets out what a guest post on this blog includes, the link policy and the minimum length, with no back-and-forth on price. For news and industry outlets, the media directory lists 1,722 outlets in 56 countries, sorted by authority, with the press council verification status of every Indonesian outlet. The full list is open, and media release distribution covers the press release side. Whoever you buy from, us included, use the checklist above first.

Where this check stops

We looked at what the two sites, four reseller pages and the search tools showed on 12 October 2026. Pages change, so read every finding as true on that date.

We did not order from either site, so we cannot speak to delivery, quality of editing or how long published posts stay up. We did not inspect the link attributes on posts already published on uploadarticle.com. We make no claim about who owns either domain or whether they are related. The search figures come with the limits noted above. If either site sends a correction or a response, we will add it to this page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is uploadarticle.com the same as uploadarticleguestposting.com?

Nothing we found says so. They are separate websites with different content rules, different contact addresses and different ordering processes, and neither homepage links to the other. uploadarticle.com is a blog archived since 2010. uploadarticleguestposting.com is a guest post service whose page metadata is dated January 2026.

How much does UploadArticle guest posting cost?

Neither site publishes a price. uploadarticleguestposting.com names three packages without amounts and offers custom quotes. Resellers list placements on uploadarticle.com at $20, $60 and $100, and one lists uploadarticleguestposting.com at $12. Those are reseller prices, checked on 12 October 2026.

What is the difference between a guest post marketplace and a guest post service?

A marketplace lists individual sites with a price for each, and you choose where the post goes. A managed service sells placements by tier and handles finding the site and placing the article. Either way, check the publishing domain, the link terms and the refund terms before paying.

Does uploadarticle.com accept guest posts?

Its Write for Us page invites contributed articles of at least 1,200 words with two HD images, submitted by email. The page does not mention a price, link type or turnaround.

Is UploadArticle guest posting free?

Some third-party pages say it is free, others sell placements on it. uploadarticle.com's own pages do not mention a fee or say it is free. uploadarticleguestposting.com sells paid packages. Ask in writing before you submit anything.

Does guest posting still work in 2026?

Guest posting is not banned. Google's spam policy targets links that are paid for to manipulate rankings without a nofollow or sponsored label, and content published mainly to borrow a host site's ranking signals. Guest posts written for a real audience on relevant sites are a different thing.

Are paid guest post links against Google's rules?

Paying for links that pass ranking credit is listed as link spam in Google's spam policy, updated 28 August 2026. The same policy says paid links are fine when they carry rel="nofollow" or rel="sponsored".

Where can I submit free guest posts?

Journalist request platforms such as HARO, Qwoted, Featured and SourceBottle have free options for answering media queries. Many publications also accept unpaid contributions through their own editorial process. None of these guarantees publication.

Why does "uploadarticle guest posting" show such high search volume?

The 67,000 figure in Ahrefs is a 12-month average driven by one spike in early 2026. Monthly estimates for July to September 2026 were 13, 12 and 12. The cause of the spike is not known.
